Media Literacy(3)----- Media & Mind<2>

5. Information Satisfaction

Sometimes when we are busy or not really that concerned with hunting down the right answer, we will accept whatever answer is laid out in fromt of us.

6. Stories are sense-making tools

We love stories. If stories are simple, easy to understand, and fill in the gaps for us, we are ready to believe them.

When something is complex or difficult to understand and the media turns it into a familiar narrative for us, we welcome it with wide, open arms - even if it's false

Conclude: the more we acknowledge our biases and thought patterns, the better we get at smashing through them to find the truth.
